Extension & Rewire Project

We have completed a small extension project in Devizes, just off Jump Farm. The customer had a new 2 storey extension which extended their existing kitchen and gave them an additional bedroom above. A full rewire of the kitchen was necessary due to the condition of the existing wiring, the area was second fixed using MK logic sockets and switches. They also had JCC LED6 LED downlights installed. We were contracted direct to the customer but had to liaise with the onsite builder who was completing the project.

Dairy Farm Project

Farm work is second nature to us being based on a dairy farm, in this project we had to install blast fans into cow sheds to help try to maintain a lower temperature, especially during the summer, the VSD speed controllers monitor the temperature of the shed and control the fan speed accordingly. We had IPAF trained engineers operating MEWPs to enable us to reach the top of the building to hang our supports and install the necessary cable.

Since starting up in 2009 as a one-man-band, HR Hislop has grown in to a small, highly experienced team of electrical contractors with a combined experience of almost 50 years within the industry. We are a fully insured, VAT registered company based in Calstone, just outside Devizes, Wiltshire.
